At SGUW, we focus on empowering women, girls, and their families through education and economic opportunities. We work with communities to foster a brighter future through sustainable, community-driven development in Sierra Leone. Our efforts emphasizes youth education and agribusiness and support for smallholder farms. Our intensive, year- long class at secondary schools provides reproductive health, critical decision-making, and builds self-esteem through role play, songs and fun. While we work side by side with the parents of the students by equipping them with vital resources, food, and income. We are proudly revitalizing this beautiful land while helping our smallholder farmers—all of whom are mothers—to achieve economic mobility and renewed hope for the future.
