How SGUW celebrates International Women's Day.

First let's go the Botown with SGUW Director Tewoh Karimu and her delightful son Alan. Tewoh and our NGO/CBO partners in conjuction with the Ministry of Gender and Children's Affairs organized a symposium to discuss passage of the new Women's rights legislation. They used this meeting to lobby for the passage of the new laws providing protection for women and girls, signing a petition to be presented to the legislature urging passage.
